MMA Purpose Statement

The MMA (Morris Ministerial Association) exists to; provide a means of fellowship and prayer for pastors and ministry professionals; unite Christians through worship, events and service to others; share the truths of the Bible and the good news of Jesus Christ.

MMA Values

To help maintain good communication between local churches.
To encourage one another in the ministry with prayer and support.
To coordinate joint religious community events.
To provide local residential care facilities with regular spiritual guidance.
To help local institutions in times of emergency or crisis.
To offer a network of resources between Christian ministries and churches which would enhance the coorporate witness of all Christians and churches in the Grundy area.

Saturday to Remember Marriage Getaway

The Morris Ministerial Association and Grundy Area Marriage Initiative presents a
“Saturday To Remember”.

The audience will include seasoned marriages, recent marriages, and soon-to-be-married couples. This will be a timely opportunity to move your marriage from “Good to Great”.

Morris Ministerial Association Meeting

All Ministers and Associate Ministers are invited to participate in the Morris Ministerial Association. Churches from the Grundy County area are represented in the MMA. Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month. During the luncheon served by the host Church, a guest speaker introduces a topic relevant to the Grundy County area and opportunities for participation by the Faith Community. MMA business follows the luncheon including a devotional, planning, and prayer for our Community.

The MMA hosts several community events each year including a Community Wide Thanksgiving Worship Service, Christmas Worship Service, Holy Week events, Annual Marriage Seminar, National Day of Prayer, and a Baccalaureate Service for High School graduates.
